Job summary

Milan Institute is seeking a Customer Service Specialist for our student salon floor. You will be the face of the institution, ensuring an exceptional client experience while managing appointments and supporting students’ learning in a welcoming, professional environment.

Responsibilities include greeting clients, scheduling visits, coordinating with instructors and students, handling payments, promoting salon services, and maintaining a clean, organized space.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Customer service or hospitality training is a plus.
• Experience in customer service in beauty/salon a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome salon clients professionally.
• Assist clients with scheduling and preferences.
• Coordinate bookings with instructors and students.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout each visit.
• Maintain a clean, organized salon floor and workstations.
• Handle client concerns and resolve issues promptly.
• Process payments and manage cash register.
• Promote salon services and promotions to encourage referrals.
• Stay informed on industry trends to provide recommendations.
• Support administrative tasks and salon projects as needed.
