Job summary

Milan Institute in Las Vegas is seeking a Customer Service Specialist for the student salon floor to greet clients, manage appointments, and support our students’ learning in a creative, dynamic setting.

You will work with instructors and students to coordinate bookings, handle payments, promote services, and maintain a welcoming, organized salon environment that reflects our standards of service and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in customer service, preferably in beauty/salon.
• Strong communication with clients, students and staff.
• Excellent organizational skills for appointments and operations.
• Enthusiasm for supporting student learning.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with salon management software is a plus.
• Basic cosmetology knowledge and product brands.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome salon clients in a friendly, professional manner.
• Assist clients with scheduling appointments and preferences.
• Coordinate bookings with instructors and students for smooth operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the client journey.
• Maintain a clean, organized salon floor and workstations.
• Handle client concerns and resolve issues promptly.
• Process payments and manage cash register transactions.
• Promote salon services and promotions to encourage referrals.
• Stay updated on trends and product knowledge to advise clients and students.
• Assist with additional administrative tasks and salon projects as needed.
