Job summary

Milan Institute in Las Vegas is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to greet clients, manage appointments, and support students on the salon floor. You will ensure a positive experience for clients and help coordinate bookings with instructors and students.

The role blends client service with administrative tasks in a dynamic educational salon. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organization, and a professional appearance, plus flexibility to work evenings/weekends as salon hours

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional customer service/hospitality training preferred.
• Previous customer service experience, preferably in beauty/salon settings.
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients, students and staff.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to appointment management.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends; flexible scheduling.
• Basic knowledge of cosmetology services and products.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome salon clients in a friendly, professional manner.
• Assist clients in scheduling appointments and managing preferences.
• Coordinate with instructors and students to manage bookings.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the client experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized salon floor and workstation areas.
• Handle client concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly.
• Process payments and manage cash register transactions.
• Promote salon services and promotions to drive referrals.
• Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge.
• Assist with administrative tasks and salon projects as needed.
