Job summary

Milan Institute in Las Vegas seeks a friendly Customer Service Specialist for our student salon floor. You will be the face of the institution, manage client appointments, and support students' learning while delivering excellent service.

You will greet clients, schedule appointments, coordinate with instructors and students, handle payments, promote services, and help maintain a welcoming, organized salon environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in customer service preferred.
• Experience in customer service, preferably in beauty/salon.
• Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills for appointments and operations.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• Proficiency with salon management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet salon clients and create a positive first impression.
• Assist clients with scheduling and preferences, handle inquiries.
• Coordinate bookings with instructors and students for smooth operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the visit.
• Maintain a clean, organized salon floor and workstations.
• Address client complaints professionally and timely.
• Process payments and manage cash register transactions.
• Promote salon services and promotions to encourage referrals.
• Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge.
• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
