Job summary

Joliet Junior College is seeking a part-time Specialist I, Registration (TEMP) to assist students with online and phone registrations, verify records, and support transcript processing across locations. Qualifications

• High School Diploma and at least one year of college coursework.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and resolve problems.
• Willingness to work at different locations and serve a diverse community.
• Knowledge of basic software and web applications; familiarity with Colleague system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with online and phone registrations in the Enrollment Center.
• Troubleshoot and resolve registration and records issues with colleagues.
• Assist instructors with grade changes and reinstatements.
• Support military and government requests for confidential records.
• Enter, verify, and register students in Colleague; correct as needed.
• Maintain semester registration files and process transcripts for in-person requests.
• Scan all registration documents.
• Answer questions about registration, transcripts, grades, and records.
• Cross-train in transcripts and records; assist with special projects.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director of Registration & Records.
