Job summary

The University of Texas at Arlington is seeking a Financial Aid Assistant to support students at the front counter and over the phone. You will respond to emails, adjust financial aid packages, and complete required paperwork submitted by students.

The role includes delivering in-person and virtual presentations to prospective students and representing the office at orientation. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree with administrative experience or an equivalent combination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and (one) 1 year of administrative experience or five (5) years of an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with questions about the financial aid process at the front counter, via phone, and email.
• Monitor office email boxes and answer student questions.
• Adjust cost of attendance budgets, make awards, disburse aid, and review reports.
• Make presentations to prospective students and parents at events; present financial aid information during orientation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
