Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with accounts receivable and credit reporting.
• Familiarity with FERPA and confidentiality requirements.
• Ability to counsel students and families on billing statements and payment options.

Responsibilities

• Generate and distribute billing for student accounts and institutional loans.
• Counsel students and families regarding billing statements, payment options, and account discrepancies, and establish payment plans in accordance with university policy.
• Determine and process account write-offs in compliance with university policy and applicable regulations.
• Credit report delinquent accounts to credit bureaus.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations related to debt collection.
• Review accounts with outstanding balances to determine transcript eligibility.
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of the University Mission.
