Touro University Illinois, within the Office of the Bursar, seeks a Student Account Representative to manage billing, collections, and accounts for university and affiliated programs, delivering accurate financial processing and excellent service to students and families.

Responsibilities include counseling on payment options, following up on payments, coordinating with Financial Aid, processing adjustments, refunds, and handling inquiries via phone and Help Desk while ensuring compliance with

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree required; accounting/finance preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and complex spreadsheets (Excel).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with learning platforms such as Banner, Canvas, Blackboard, Adobe Connect.
• High attention to detail; customer service and teamwork oriented.

Responsabilidades

• Counsel students and parents on tuition payment options.
• Follow-up to ensure timely payments.
• Review credit and debit reports, as necessary.
• Work closely with Financial Aid to review and clear pending accounts for registration.
• Make necessary adjustments to student accounts.
• Prepare and notify Financial Aid regarding adjustments needed to student accounts.
• Calculate refunds owed to students per College and US DOE regulations; submit refunds for timely payment.
• Work closely with Financial Aid and stay current with financial aid regulations.
• Mail out past due notices to students; answer phone and email messages.
• Support Help Desk inquiries.
• Coordinate with High School administration to ensure compliance with forms and payments.
• Intake enrollment paperwork for Israel Experience Programs; coordinate with Israeli institutions to collect fees and update accounts.
• Charge tuition and fees according to school rates; secure payments.
