Job summary

Arizona State University Student Business Services seeks a Student Account Representative to provide courteous, prompt assistance to students about their ASU account status. You will handle inquiries, process transactions, and support timely account resolution.

Responsibilities include extensive customer service, researching account activity, preparing reconciliations and reports, and communicating effectively with students via in-person, email, and phone channels at the Tempe campus.

Qualifications

• Experience in Financial Accounting.
• Experience in high-volume customer service environments.
• Experience in Accounts Receivable and reconciling accounts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Experience with PeopleSoft or similar accounting systems.
• Ability to prepare reports and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Extensive customer service in person, via e‑mail, and on the phone for student account related functions.
• Research account activity to identify and resolve issues.
• Process transactions including waivers, charges, and credits to student accounts.
• Prepare reconciliations and departmental reports using PeopleSoft, MyASU, and Microsoft Office.
• Review and resolve student account inquiries related to tuition, billing, and collections.
