Job summary

DSI Tech is expanding its Structured Cabling practice and seeks an experienced Solutions Architect to lead technical design from initial discussions through implementation. The role requires on-site surveys, BOM creation, and collaboration with sales and delivery teams to win and deliver projects.

The ideal candidate will own the design process, develop precise budgets, and ensure solutions meet customer requirements and codes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience designing and supporting structured cabling and telecommunications infrastructure projects.
• Experience with Cat6, Cat6A and fiber, MDF/IDF design, and data center cabling environments.
• Ability to translate field conditions into an implementable technical design.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design of cabling solutions from customer conversation to implementation.
• Develop Bills of Materials, Statements of Work and project estimates.
• Prepare technical documentation and drawings with AutoCAD/Bluebeam/Visio.
• Review RFPs and construction documents to identify requirements and risks.
• Handoff to project managers and field teams after award.
