Job summary

DSI Tech is expanding its Structured Cabling practice and seeks an experienced Structured Cabling Solutions Architect to lead design from initial customer conversations through BOM, SOW, and transition to implementation teams. The role is customer-facing, requiring site walks, discussion of business requirements, and development of scalable, cost-aware cabling solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience designing and supporting structured cabling and telecommunications infrastructure projects.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Cat6, Cat6A, fiber (single-mode and multimode), backbone and horizontal cabling.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design of cabling solutions from customer conversations and on-site surveys to BOM and SOW.
• Develop Bills of Materials and technical inputs to support estimating and pricing.
• Prepare technical Statements of Work defining scope, assumptions and acceptance criteria.
• Review drawings, RFPs and construction documents to identify requirements and risks.
• Provide handoff to delivery teams and support during installation as needed.
