Job summary

DSI Tech is seeking a Structured Cabling Solutions Architect to lead the technical design from customer discovery through implementation. The role focuses on copper and fiber cabling, BOM creation, and project documentation, with responsibilities spanning on-site surveys, design reviews, and handoffs to delivery teams.

The ideal candidate has extensive structured cabling experience, BICSI knowledge, and proficiency with AutoCAD/Bluebeam/Visio.

Qualifications

• 7+ years designing and supporting structured cabling and telecommunications infrastructure.
• On-site surveys and translating field conditions into implementable design.
• Developing detailed Bills of Materials and supporting cost estimates.
• Experience with SOWs, design packages, and cable schedules.
• Office/enterprise data center cabling environments knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design of cabling solutions from customer conversations to implementation.
• Create accurate BOMs, routing, and fiber/copper counts for bids and projects.
• Prepare Statements of Work with scope, deliverables, and testing requirements.
• Develop drawings and diagrams using AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or Visio.
• Support sales and delivery teams through project award and handoff.
• Provide technical support during installation as needed.
• Review and refine installation documentation and as-built records.
