Job summary
DSI Tech seeks an experienced Structured Cabling Solutions Architect to lead technical design from customer conversation to BOM and Statement of Work, transitioning to implementation. This customer-facing role requires on-site surveys, site-specific cabling solutions, and close collaboration with sales and delivery teams to win and execute projects.

Qualifications
- 7+ years designing and supporting structured cabling and telecom infra projects.
- Experience with Cat6/Cat6A, single-mode, multimode fiber and backbone cabling.
- Knowledge of MDF/IDF design, rooms, racks, patching, pathways and grounding.
- Experience translating field conditions into implementable designs.
- Developing detailed Bills of Materials and cost estimates.
- Experience with SOWs, design packages, cable schedules and docs.
- Experience in data centers, campus or enterprise cabling environments.
Responsibilities
- Participate in customer discovery and on-site surveys to define requirements.
- Design cabling solutions and determine routes, racks, and room needs.
- Develop BOMs, material quantities, labor assumptions for estimates.
- Prepare technical SOWs with scope, assumptions and acceptance criteria.
- Create drawings and diagrams with AutoCAD/Bluebeam/Visio.
- Review drawings and RFPs for technical requirements and risks.
- Develop RFIs and support customer discussions on scope clarifications.
- Handoff designs to project managers and support during implementation.
