Job summary

DSI Tech is expanding its Structured Cabling practice in Ashburn, Virginia, seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to lead design from on-site surveys to BOMs and SOWs. This customer-facing role requires deep cabling knowledge and field experience.

You will collaborate with sales, estimating, and delivery teams to develop technically compliant, cost-effective solutions and ensure smooth project handoffs to the implementation team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years designing/ supporting structured cabling and telecom infra projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design of structured cabling solutions from customer dialogue and surveys.
• Develop Bills of Materials, SOWs, and proposals; support implementation handoff.
• Review drawings, specifications, and construction docs to identify requirements and risks.
• Prepare RFIs and assist in scope clarification meetings.
• Collaborate with sales and estimating to deliver compliant, competitive cabling solutions.
• Present designs and trade-offs to customers with clear explanations.
