Job summary

Blue Origin in the United States is seeking a Structural Analyst to join the New Glenn team and help design, certify, and test pressure and non-pressure structures for the rocket. You will perform high-fidelity analysis and contribute to safety-focused design and processes.

The role requires hands-on FEM work, experience with Nastran/Ansys, and collaboration across engineering disciplines to deliver robust hardware for spaceflight missions.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering, MS preferred.
• 2+ years of demonstrated ability with aircraft, spacecraft and launch vehicle structures.
• Proficiency with one or more analysis codes and reading/manipulating input files.

Responsibilities

• Detailed hand calculations and FE analysis of primary and secondary aerospace structures.
• Documentation of stress analysis to support release of drawings/documents.
• Support test campaigns, and create reports for hardware qualification.
