Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a highly skilled structural analyst to advance the development and operation of New Glenn. You will conduct detailed hand calculations and FEM analyses on primary and secondary structures, document stress analyses, and guide design concepts with a focus on safety and repeatable spaceflight.

The role requires on-site presence daily, collaboration across teams, and experience with aerospace structural requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required; Master's preferred.
• 8+ years of experience with aircraft/spacecraft/launch vehicle structures.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed hand calculations and FEM analysis of aerospace structures.
• Document stress analyses to support release of drawings/documents.
• Understand repair methods and analytical practices for composite and metallic structures.
• Provide technical guidance on design concepts balancing risk, cost, and performance.
• Maintain and report production schedules, budgets, and technical status.
• Support cross-organizational teams with input for production activities and configuration development.
• Conduct analysis checks for junior analysts and improve analysis processes.
