Job summary

Blue Origin LLC seeks an experienced structural analyst to shape the design, certification, and testing of pressurized and unpressurized structures for New Glenn. You will lead FE analysis, mentor junior analysts, and contribute to robust qualification programs while collaborating across disciplines.

The role demands hands-on experience with aerospace structural analysis, modeling techniques, and a track record of delivering safe, human-rated spacecraft hardware.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in engineering with 8+ years in aerospace structures.
• Proficiency with Nastran, Optistruct, Ansys or Abaqus for analysis.
• Strong FEA experience and validation of structural models.

Responsibilities

• Detailed hand calc and FE analysis of aerospace structures.
• Documentation of stress analysis for release of drawings/documents.
• Support test campaigns and qualification reports.
• Mentor designers and junior analysts in stress and fracture analysis.
• Develop automation tools for model creation and reporting.
