Blue Origin is seeking a skilled structural analyst to join the New Glenn team in Seattle, WA. You will lead hand calculations and FE analysis for primary and secondary structures, documenting results for design release and supporting qualification campaigns.

The role requires a BS in engineering (MS preferred) and 2+ years in aircraft/spacecraft structures, with strong experience in Nastran, Optistruct, Ansys, Abaqus and related FEM methods.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering; MS preferred; 2+ years in aerospace structures.
• Proficiency with Nastran, Optistruct, Ansys, Abaqus for reading/manipulating inputs.
• High proficiency with FEA tools and advanced FEM modeling techniques.

Responsibilities

• Detailed hand calculations and FE analysis of aerospace structures.
• Document stress analysis for release of drawings/documents.
• Support test campaigns, report generation, and hardware qualification.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across the shop floor.
