Job summary

EY-Parthenon, the Strategy and Execution Value Creation practice, seeks an Associate-Consultant in New York to drive EBITDA uplift through disciplined operational improvements across transactions.

You will join a collaborative team, work on buy-side diligence, integration planning, and value creation initiatives while developing skills in analytics, project management, and client leadership within EY’s global network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Analytics and 1 year of related work experience; or a graduate degree and some related work experience.
• Strategy and operations management consulting experience.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving/modeling skills, and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
• Experience in operational due diligence, operational restructuring, and performance improvement.
• Experience in business integrations, divestitures, and/or carve-outs with quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Deep understanding of financial statements and operational performance metrics.
• Experience leading and managing in complex business environments.
• Ability to prioritize effectively on projects and adapt to new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Execute operational focused projects across the transaction lifecycle.
• Conduct operational due diligence emphasizing EBITDA upside and risk.
• Support buy-side carve-out and integration planning for spun-out businesses.
• Contribute to post-acquisition 100-day and value creation planning.
• Assist in ongoing performance improvement and exit readiness planning.
