Job summary

The MGM Resorts International team in Yonkers, NY seeks a Workforce Management Supervisor to lead schedulers in producing weekly schedules and daily tasks. You will serve as a leadership liaison between Workforce Management Specialists and management to optimize staffing and processes.

Responsibilities include developing staff skills, collaborating with department managers, and implementing scheduling enhancements while ensuring compliance with labor agreements and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of prior relevant experience.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Train and enhance the Workforce Management Specialists' skills to improve scheduling solutions and their personal growth.
• Collaborate with department schedulers and managers to ensure accurate staffing levels and formulate efficiency strategies.
• Devising scheduling enhancements and create new business models.
• Discover best practices to utilize staffing while following labor agreements and regulations.
• Adhere to ethical and equity standards when managing WFM Specialists and department inquiries.
• Balance workloads between weekly scheduling and daily operations.
• Ensure the team completes daily schedule operations, including leave requests and call-outs.
