Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas seeks a Director of Workforce Management to plan and oversee staffing across the property, ensuring efficient scheduling while delivering exceptional guest service.

The role requires leadership in building the department, managing forecasting, vacation approvals, and reporting. Experience with Virtual Roster Scheduling and a background in a resort setting are preferred; bachelor's degree is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of prior relevant experience required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Working knowledge of Virtual Roster Scheduling preferred; experience with labor analytics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop productivity and guest service standards to ensure efficient staffing with exceptional guest service.
• Provide leadership in the development of the Workforce Management department.
• Act as property contact with respect to scheduling including vacation approvals, forecasting and analytical reporting.
• Ensure all property schedules are followed and follow up with leadership on exception reporting.
• Manage relationships with property leadership to develop communication between Workforce Management and operating departments.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade scheduling systems and IT systems.
• Ensure scheduling complies with collective bargaining agreements and labor laws.
• Provide labor reporting to Property Senior Management.
