Job summary

Sumitomo Pharma America (SMPA) seeks a dynamic Territory Sales Manager – Specialty to represent the company to customers across the U.S. You will drive sales objectives, build deep clinical relationships, and expand market share with a focus on oncology, urology, and women's health products.

You should travel 60-80% of the time and may have overnight stays. A bachelor’s degree and pharmaceutical sales experience are required, with a strong record of performance and market knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related area with two+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Proven track record of top sales performance in pharma is preferred.
• Knowledge of Urology, market access, and formulary positioning is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Achieve/exceed sales objectives and grow market share in assigned territory.
• Establish deep relationships with customers using clinical and market insights.
• Close new business in high-potential accounts and expand existing ones.
• Provide clinical expertise and market understanding to support sales strategies.
• Travel throughout territory; overnight stays and some evenings/weekends may be required.
