Job summary

Sumitomo Pharma America (SMPA) seeks a dynamic Territory Sales Manager – Specialty to represent SMPA to customers remotely in the US. You will own territory performance, build strong clinical relationships, and drive market share growth through strategic planning and compliant execution.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in business/marketing or related field, 2+ years in pharmaceutical sales (Urology preferred), and a proven sales track record.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related area with two or more years pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Proven track record of top-ranked sales performance (top 25% nationally).
• Experience in Urology and with a pharmaceutical launch.
• Knowledge of market access formulary positioning, pull-through and push-through.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed sales objectives and grow market share.
• Establish deep relationships with customers using clinical and market insights.
• Close new business in high-potential accounts and existing ones.
• Support sales results with clinical expertise and compliant planning.
• Analyze product/competitor trends and market dynamics.
• Travel across the territory; overnight stays and evenings as needed.
