Job summary

Sumitomo Pharma America (SMPA) seeks a dynamic Territory Sales Manager – Specialty to be the face of SMPA to customers in the US. You will own territory growth, leveraging clinical and market insights to expand market share with compliant, data-driven strategies.

Expected travel is substantial (60–80%), with overnight stays and occasional weekend meetings. A Bachelor’s degree and pharma sales background are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related area with two+ years pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Proven track record of top-ranked sales performance (ideally top 25% nationally).
• Experience in Urology and pharmaceutical launches is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed sales objectives and grow market share in assigned territory.
• Establish deep business relationships based on clinical and market expertise.
• Close new business in both new and existing accounts based on market potential.
• Support sales results with clinical expertise and compliant resource use.
• Travel throughout the territory; overnight stays may be required.
