Job summary

CAC I International Inc. seeks a Director of Space Business Development to drive exponential growth in the Space Sensing and Defense division.

The role focuses on building customer relationships, shaping acquisitions, and expanding pipelines across DoD, IC, and space markets. The ideal candidate has a strong technical acumen in space EO/IR/Radar payloads, and a track record of leading capture efforts, with TS/SCI clearance and exceptional communication skills to influence senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Optical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 12+ years of strategic business development experience in Space and Intelligence sectors with proven capture experience.
• US Citizenship with an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Exceptional communication skills with demonstrated pipeline growth and long-range planning experience.
• Experience navigating USG opportunity management systems (SAM.gov, ARC, NSTXL SpEC).

Responsibilities

• Oversee strategic growth and P&L across a mixed portfolio of Defense systems and payloads.
• Engage government stakeholders, PAOs, and IC customers to discern needs and shape acquisitions.
• Drive pipeline development, backlog generation, and proposal strategies with executive alignment.
• Partner with engineering and business leads to identify new hardware/software offerings based on geopolitical trends and tech advances.
