Job summary

CACI is seeking a Director of Business Development for the Space Sensing and Defense division. You will drive exponential growth, manage pipelines, and shape acquisitions in a high-stakes government and IC landscape.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance, strong technical acumen in space EO/IR/Radar payloads, and a proven track record building relationships with DoD, IC, and space sector customers. Occasional travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Optical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline
• 12+ years of strategic business development experience in Space/Intelligence sectors with track record of scaling large units and managing capture strategies
• US Citizen with active Top Secret/SCI clearance
• Exceptional communication skills with demonstrated pipeline growth and long-range planning experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee business development to sustain and exceed targeted P&L booking requirements across Defense Laser Warning systems and complex optical payloads
• Cultivate trusted relationships with government stakeholders and IC customers to discern needs and shape future acquisitions
• Spearhead transition and expansion of Space Payloads from IC into DoW and assess expansion into commercial and international markets
• Support long-range planning, pipeline development, and backlog generation; guide proposal strategies and reviews
• Partner with engineering to identify and shape new hardware/software offerings based on geopolitical sentiment and evolving customer priorities
• Leverage cross-functional leadership to drive BD objectives in a matrixed environment
