Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Solution Strategy Lead for its Pre-Sales Customer Engineering organization. You will act as a trusted advisor, map complex customer ecosystems, and drive enterprise-wide transformation across App Modernization, Developer, and AI initiatives.

In this role you will orchestrate cross-functional teams, guide strategic engagements, and influence product direction while maintaining a strong customer focus and business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Customer Engineering Leadership, Product Management, Consulting, or Technical Strategy within a global SaaS or infrastructure environment.
• Executive presence with the ability to influence C-level executives and internal product leads simultaneously.
• A natural obsession with 'How it works' and 'How it could be better.' You are driven to discover the architectural truth behind every customer challenge.
• Bias for Action: you build the 'Formation' to solve problems in high-pressure, ambiguous environments.
• Strong knowledge of Security Architecture, Design and Operations.
• Working knowledge of AI and its applicability to today’s enterprise landscape.
• Experience with cloud computing solutions including Microsoft 365, Azure, Google, AWS

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor for 1–5 of our highest-value accounts, mapping their technical ecosystem and driving adoption.
• Develop account-specific adoption plans across App Modernization, Developer, and AI.
• Coordinate SE, CS, and Product resources against milestones and ensure internal alignment on priorities.
• Build executive relationships with CTOs and VPs of Engineering to shape platform strategy.
• Identify and qualify platform expansion opportunities and hand off to the commercial team when ready.
• Provide quarterly product feedback on adoption patterns, blockers, and feature needs.
