Job summary

Cloudflare in San Francisco, CA seeks a Senior Customer Engineer to drive technical go-to-market strategy for strategic enterprise customers. You will bridge technical strategy with business value from pre-sales validation through onboarding, deployment architecture, and lifecycle expansion.

You will serve as the primary executive and engineering contact, owning discovery, demos, onboarding, health, risk, and expansion, while leveraging AI-augmented workflows to maximize impact and minimize

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role with enterprise clients.
• Ability to white-board, design, and articulate complex enterprise network and security architectures.
• Excellent communication for translating technical concepts into business outcomes.
• Commercial experience in quota-carrying or revenue-aligned roles.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted tooling to augment CE workflows.
• Proficiency with RESTful/GraphQL APIs and cloud-native developer tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical deep-dive discovery and map customer infrastructure to Cloudflare architectures.
• Design migration and onboarding blueprints for customer environments and guide engineering teams.
• Own discovery, demos, onboarding, technical health, risk, and expansion strategy with account execs.
• Act as trusted advisor across onboarding, renewal, and expansion lifecycle.
• Leverage AI agents and workflows to automate routine CE tasks, freeing time for architecture work.
• Educate internal teams and customers on SOPs, best practices, and guides.
