Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Customer Engineer to act as a trusted technical advisor, bridging technical strategy and business value for enterprise clients. You will guide pre-sales validation through onboarding, deployment architecture, and expansion, operating as a quota-carrying technologist with AI-enabled workflows to reduce toil.

You will own discovery, demos, onboarding, health, risk, and expansion strategy, partnering with Account Executives to drive customer success and platform adoption.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role or equivalent.
• Ability to design and articulate complex enterprise network and security architectures.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts to business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical deep-dive discovery and map requirements to Cloudflare architectures.
• Oversee onboarding, deployment architecture, and lifecycle expansion with enterprise clients.
• Drive quarterly business reviews to translate platform capabilities into business value.
• Act as a trusted advisor on architecture, AI control layers, and deployment confidence.
