Job summary

TriNet Group, Inc. is seeking a Sales Consultant to drive new business within a defined territory of 5-99 employee companies.

You will prospect, build a book of business, and convert opportunities into closed deals by presenting TriNet's comprehensive HR solution, including benefits, payroll, and HR services. You will manage a multi-faceted sales process, collaborate with internal teams, and meet quarterly quota targets while traveling to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Clear and persuasive communication skills across all levels of an organization.
• Ability to build a personal book of business through targeted prospecting and referrals.
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills to articulate TriNet's value proposition.

Responsibilities

• Develop an annual plan to hit targets in a defined territory across multiple states.
• Build and manage a balanced pipeline of prospects via cold calling, email, phone, LinkedIn, and partners.
• Qualify opportunities quickly; establish trusted advisor relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders.
• Utilize a multi-step sales process with defined criteria and executive sponsorship.
• Meet quota targets by maintaining activity metrics and managing multiple opportunities.
