Job summary

TriNet is seeking a Sales Consultant to drive new business for our HR solutions, targeting companies with 5-99 employees within your territory. You'll prospect, build a book of business, present value propositions, and guide prospects through the sales process to close deals with executives.

You will manage a full cycle from initial outreach to proposal and negotiation, using tools like Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Typically 3+ years B2B complex sales cycle preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan: Develop an annual plan to hit targets in defined territory.
• Prospect: Build a balanced pipeline through cold calling, email, phone, and referrals.
• Qualifying opportunities: Assess target market and decision makers quickly.
• Value & Consultative Selling: Build trusted advisor relationships with clients.
• Sales Process: Manage a multi-step process with defined criteria and sponsorship.
• Sales tools and systems: Use Salesforce, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and quoting tools.
