Job summary

Johnson Controls Security in the United States is seeking a Commercial Sales Account Executive to promote and sell Johnson Controls Security services and technology within an assigned territory, close new business, and ensure customer retention. This role requires building relationships and delivering value to commercial customers.

You will renew agreements, upsell add-ons, and maintain knowledge of our product lines through training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule.
• Willingness to travel locally.
• College degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial sales experience in security/ IT or related tech industry.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Johnson Controls Security services within assigned territory and close new business.
• Develop and maintain relationships to secure profitable sales and upgrades.
• Renew existing customer agreements and pursue add-ons.
• Identify prospects and generate leads; follow up with prospects and customers.
• Manage call plans and territory effectively with time management.
