Job summary

ServiceNow is seeking a Senior Principal Solution Architect to lead advisory and delivery of Security & Risk solutions for major clients. You will consult on architecture, governance, risk controls, and AI-enabled workflows, while guiding delivery teams and partnering with Sales to accelerate outcomes.

The role requires deep security and regulatory knowledge, platform expertise, and the ability to influence senior leaders across large, regulated enterprises. Travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in a professional services org or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years consulting and/or configuration experience implementing complex technologies.
• 5+ years implementing ServiceNow Security and Risk solutions.
• Strong experience with TPRM, USEM, VR, SIR, IRM (RC, TPRM, BCM), OpsRes, and AI Control Tower.
• Understanding of FFIEC, DORA, OpsRes, SEC, OCC, and SOX regulatory landscape.
• NIST CSF knowledge; cross-functional domains incl. ITOM: Event Management, Discovery, CMDB, Service Graph Connectors.
• Experience applying AI to work processes and decision-making.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and drive customer-centric outcomes.
• Strong visualization and modeling skills: wireframes, workflows, diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales activities: presentations, solutioning, scoping workshops, SOWs, and sizing with sales teams.
• Serve as a lead on engagements, aligning Security & Risk workflows to client tech landscapes.
• Engage CXOs on implementation roadmaps and change management.
• Collaborate with Platform Architect team to surface platform risks for clients.
• Act as practice director on marquee accounts, guiding delivery and ensuring standards.
• Design and deliver Security & Risk solutions with scalable architecture.
• Publish repeatable solutions and knowledge for broader use.
• Build relationships with product owners and stakeholders to promote capabilities.
• Lead office hours, webinars, and learning events showcasing success cases.
• Continuously improve delivery materials with Customer & Partner Excellence team.
• Mentor ServiceNow delivery teams and partners.
• Create documentation and service offerings; adapt across Risk & Security domains.
• Travel up to 20% as needed by client demands.
