Job summary

EY’s Security Technology Services (STS) Lab seeks a Service Manager at Assistant Director level to own the lab's portfolio, budget, and cadence. Define the service catalog, manage intake and prioritization, and shape the roadmap to align with governance and funding.

You will collaborate with global security SMEs and lead governance across IAM, Defender XDR, Sentinel, Purview, and Zscaler, ensuring an efficiently funded engineering platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 7+ years IT service/product/program management or security leadership.
• Experience as a single accountable owner for a technology service, platform, or program.
• Proven ability to design and manage intake and prioritization processes.
• Strong financial governance: budget tracking, cost allocation and funding requests.
• Experience delivering executive-level reporting and dashboards.
• Familiarity with Azure services and subscription cost management.
• Experience operating in a large, global organization with cross-geography coordination.
• Excellent documentation skills for governance artifacts and decision logs.

Responsibilities

• Product & Service Ownership — Own STS Lab service catalog and communicate scope and value to stakeholders.
• Intake & Prioritization — Manage end-to-end intake for lab requests and align demand with capacity.
• Roadmap Management — Develop and maintain the STS Lab roadmap across engineering and operations.
• Funding & Budget Governance — Track spend, allocate costs, prepare funding requests, report health.
• Reporting & Metrics — Design and deliver regular governance reporting for leadership.
• Escalation Management — Serve as primary escalation path for issues and blockers.
• Operating Cadence — Establish lab operating rhythm with stand-ups, planning, reviews.
• Vendor & Partner Engagement — Manage vendor relationships, SLAs, and procurement considerations.
• Cross-functional Collaboration — Work with IAM, Defender, Sentinel, Purview, Entra ID, Zscaler, Endpoint Security SMEs.
• Governance & Compliance — Ensure adherence to EY policies and maintain audit-ready docs.
