Job summary

EY’s Security Technology Services (STS) Lab seeks an Assistant Director-level Service Manager to own the lab’s service portfolio, backlog, and budget. You’ll govern intake, shape the roadmap, and serve as the primary escalation point for stakeholders and leadership.

You’ll collaborate with IAM, Defender XDR, Sentinel, Purview, and other SMEs to ensure the lab runs as a well-governed, funded engineering platform in a global enterprise.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in ITSM, PM, or security leadership roles.
• Single accountable owner for a technology service including budget and roadmap.
• Experience designing intake and prioritization processes in a fast-paced tech environment.
• Strong financial governance skills: budget tracking and variance reporting.
• Experience delivering executive dashboards on service health and roadmap status.
• Familiarity with Azure cost governance as a governance owner.

Responsibilities

• Own the lab service catalog as product owner.
• Manage intake and prioritization for lab requests and projects.
• Develop and maintain the STS Lab roadmap across engineering and tooling.
• Oversee budget, funding requests, and cost allocation.
• Design regular governance reporting for senior stakeholders.
• Serve as escalation point for lab issues and blockers.
• Establish operating cadence: stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews.
• Engage with vendors during evaluations and POC phases.
• Collaborate with IAM, Defender/Sentinel, Purview, and security SMEs.
• Ensure compliance with EY standards and change processes.
