Job summary

EY’s Security Technology Services (STS) Lab seeks a Service Manager at Assistant Director level to own the lab’s priorities, budget, and cadence. You’ll define the service portfolio, manage intake and prioritization, shape the roadmap, and be the primary escalation point for stakeholders and leadership.

You will collaborate with IAM, Defender XDR, Sentinel, Purview, and Zscaler teams to ensure the lab is well-governed, funded, and aligned with security objectives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in IT Service Management, Product Management, Program Management, or Security Engineering leadership roles.
• Single accountable owner for a technology service, platform, or engineering program — including budget, roadmap, and stakeholder reporting.
• Designing and managing intake and prioritization processes in a fast-paced technology environment.
• Strong financial governance: budget tracking, cost allocation, funding requests, and variance reporting.
• Experience delivering executive-level reporting and dashboards on service health, roadmap status, and financial performance.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services and subscription cost management.
• Experience operating in a large, global, matrixed organization.
• Excellent documentation skills; governance artifacts, decision logs, and process documentation.

Responsibilities

• Product & Service Ownership — Own the STS Lab service catalog and communicate scope, status, and value to stakeholders.
• Intake & Prioritization — Manage end-to-end intake for lab requests and align demand with capacity.
• Roadmap Management — Develop and maintain the STS Lab roadmap across engineering, tooling, and operations.
• Funding & Budget Governance — Track spend, manage cost allocation, and report funding health to leadership.
• Reporting & Metrics — Design and deliver regular lab performance and roadmap progress reports.
• Escalation Management — Serve as the primary escalation path for lab issues and blockers.
• Operating Cadence — Establish the lab's operating rhythm with standups, sprint planning, and reviews.
• Vendor & Partner Engagement — Coordinate with vendors; manage SLAs and obligations.
• Cross-functional Collaboration — Build relationships with IAM, Defender/Sentinel, Purview, and others.
• Governance & Compliance — Ensure audit-ready documentation and compliance with EY standards.
