Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced STS Lab Service Manager (Assistant Director level) to own and govern EY's Security Technology Services Lab. You will manage the service portfolio, intake, prioritization, and roadmap, while controlling funding and serving as the primary escalation point for stakeholders.

You will partner with IAM, Defender XDR, Sentinel, Purview, and Zscaler teams to ensure a well-governed and funded engineering platform.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in ITSM, product, program, or security leadership.
• Single accountable owner for a technology service incl. budget, roadmap, reporting.
• Ability to design and manage intake and prioritization processes.
• Strong financial governance: budget tracking, cost allocation, funding requests, variance reporting.
• Experience delivering executive dashboards on service health, roadmap status, and financial performance.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services and subscription cost governance.
• Experience in a large, global, matrixed organization across geographies.
• Excellent documentation skills; governance artifacts and decision logs.

Responsibilities

• Own the STS Lab service catalog and its scope, status and value.
• Own end-to-end intake for lab requests (projects, evaluations, POC, onboarding).
• Develop and maintain the STS Lab roadmap and translate strategy into quarterly/annual plans.
• Manage the lab budget, track spend, allocate costs across Azure subscriptions and licenses.
• Design and deliver regular reporting on lab performance, capacity and progress.
• Serve as primary escalation path for lab issues and stakeholder concerns.
• Establish the lab operating cadence: stand-ups, planning, reviews, stakeholder briefings.
• Coordinate with vendors during evaluations and POC phases; manage SLAs and contracts.
• Collaborate with IAM, Defender/Sentinel, Purview, and Endpoint Security SMEs to meet needs.
