Job summary

EY’s Security Technology Services (STS) Lab seeks an Assistant Director-level Service Manager to own the lab’s governance, budget, and priorities. You will shape the service portfolio, manage intake, and partner with security architects and cross-functional SMEs to align with strategic objectives.

This newly created role requires strong product ownership, executive communication, and financial governance to drive value for EY's vast security program across IAM, Defender XDR, Sentinel, Purview,

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in IT Service Management, Product Management, Program Management, or Security Engineering leadership roles.
• Single accountable owner for a technology service, platform, or engineering program including budget, roadmap, and stakeholder reporting.
• Design and manage intake and prioritization processes in a fast-paced tech environment.
• Strong financial governance: budget tracking, cost allocation, funding requests, variance reporting.
• Experience delivering executive-level reporting and dashboards on service health, roadmap status, and financial performance.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services and subscription cost management.
• Experience operating in a large, global, matrixed organization across geographies.
• Excellent documentation skills for governance artifacts and decision logs.

Responsibilities

• Own STS Lab service catalog as the product owner; define scope, status, and value for stakeholders.
• Oversee end-to-end intake process for lab requests and align demand with capacity.
• Develop and maintain the STS Lab roadmap across engineering and operational workstreams.
• Manage the lab budget: track spend, allocate costs, prepare funding requests.
• Design and deliver regular reporting on lab performance and roadmap progress.
• Serve as primary escalation point for lab issues and blockers.
• Establish the lab's operating cadence: stand-ups, planning, reviews, stakeholder briefings.
• Coordinate with vendors during evaluations and POCs; manage SLAs and contracts.
• Collaborate with IAM, Defender XDR, Sentinel, Purview, and Endpoint Security SMEs.
