Job summary

EY's Security Technology Services (STS) Lab in the US seeks an Assistant Director-level STS Lab Service Manager to own the lab's priorities, budget, and cadence, shaping the service portfolio and roadmap with cross-functional partners.

You will partner with Security Architects and leaders across IAM, Defender XDR, Sentinel, Purview, Zscaler to deliver a well-governed, funded engineering platform and produce executive dashboards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in IT Service Management, Product Management, Program Management, or Security Engineering leadership.
• Single accountable owner for a technology service, including budget, roadmap, and stakeholder reporting.
• Design and manage intake and prioritization processes in fast-paced tech environments.
• Strong financial governance: budget tracking, cost allocation, funding requests, and variance reporting.
• Experience delivering executive dashboards on service health, roadmap status, and financial performance.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services and subscription cost governance.
• Experience operating in a large, global matrix organization across geographies.
• Excellent documentation skills for governance artifacts and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Product & Service Ownership — act as the product owner for the STS Lab service catalog; define, maintain, and communicate scope and value.
• Intake & Prioritization — own end-to-end intake for lab requests; apply prioritization frameworks to align demand with capacity.
• Roadmap Management — develop and maintain the STS Lab roadmap across engineering and operational workstreams.
• Funding & Budget Governance — track spend; prepare funding requests; report financial health to leadership.
• Reporting & Metrics — design and deliver regular lab performance reports for governance bodies.
• Escalation Management — be the primary escalation path for lab issues; resolve conflicts and communicate clearly.
• Operating Cadence — establish lab cadence: stand-ups, planning, reviews, and stakeholder briefings.
• Vendor & Partner Engagement — manage vendor relationships during evaluations and POC phases.
• Cross-functional Collaboration — collaborate with IAM, Defender/Sentinel, Purview, Zscaler, and Endpoint SMEs.
• Governance & Compliance — ensure activities adhere to EY standards; maintain audit-ready documentation.
