Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic Sales Manager to join our culture and lead sales and business development for security and fire. You will recruit and direct a sales team and drive profitability and growth in line with company vision and values.

You are a proven leader with experience building strategies, coaching sales staff, and delivering results. Travel will be required; you will work in a global team of professionals and contribute to our industry-leading customer service.

Qualifications

• College degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred.
• 8+ years of successful sales experience, including leadership roles.
• Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning abilities.
• Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.
• Proven ability to drive sales teams and deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a vertical or territory strategy aligned to company priorities and measure performance.
• Plan upselling and cross-selling of services across accounts and manage customer lifetime value.
• Recruit, hire, onboard and develop top sales talent.
• Provide daily and weekly sales planning and encouragement to the team.
• Coach key sales pursuits including pre-meeting planning, in-meeting support, and post-debrief.
• Provide training and coaching to develop the team and manage underperformance.
• Aid Account Executives with RFP responses, proposals, pricing, and presentations.
• Provide monthly and annual sales forecasts that are reliable and accurate.
