Job summary

VB Spine is seeking a Strategic Sales Manager (West) to lead high-impact sales strategies across IDN, regional, and local contracts. This remote role prefers candidates in Pacific or Mountain time zones, with travel about 35-40% and a focus on contract optimization and program design.

You will partner with Finance, Marketing, and other teams to drive pricing, tools, and initiatives that improve outcomes and expand the company’s presence in the spine market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years in sales or related field, or high school diploma with 8 years’ experience.
• Spine industry and contract experience preferred.
• Self-starter attitude with independence and anticipation of customer needs.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute account strategies with sales team across key customers and programs.
• Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, and cross-functional teams to improve pricing and programming.
• Identify growth and retention opportunities by analyzing market trends and customer data.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders and executive-level contacts.
• Lead collaboration to maximize ROI and expand company reach.
• Translate data into actionable insights for sales strategy and execution.
• Support strategic contracting with GPO/IDN agreements and competitive conversions.
• Contribute to VB Spine’s commercial strategy with market intelligence.
• Mentor and train sales/marketing in tools, messaging, and planning.
• Serve as advisor to senior leadership on growth initiatives.
• Travel approximately 35-40%.
