Job summary

VB Spine is seeking a Strategic Sales Manager (West) to lead sales strategy for cutting-edge spine programs. This remote role focuses on West Coast time zones, coordinating with cross-functional teams to shape pricing, programming, and region-wide contracts.

You will develop account plans, guide senior relationships, and drive growth across national programs and local agreements while traveling 35–40% of the time. A track record in spine or contract sales is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 5 years sales experience; spine industry experience preferred.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and anticipate customer needs.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated effective project management skills.
• Ability to build relationships and influence different groups.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute account strategies with the sales team for key customers and programs.
• Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, and other teams to improve pricing, programming, and outcomes.
• Identify growth and retention opportunities through market trends and data.
• Build and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders and executive contacts to influence outcomes.
• Lead collaboration efforts, aligning strategies to maximize ROI and expand reach.
• Translate data into actionable insights to support sales strategy and execution.
• Support contracting by targeting GPO/IDN agreements and competitive conversions.
• Contribute to VB Spine’s commercial strategy with market intelligence.
• Mentor and train sales and marketing on tools, messaging, and planning.
• Serve as strategic advisor to senior leadership on growth initiatives.
