Job summary

VB Spine is seeking a Strategic Sales Manager (West) to drive high-impact sales strategies across national programs, IDN and local contracts. This role is remote for the West Region (Pacific/Mountain time zones) with up to 40% travel, reporting into the Sales leadership.

You will mentor teams, translate complex data into insights, and partner with cross-functional teams to maximize ROI while advancing surgeon-focused care and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of work experience, sales highly preferred
• Spine industry and contract experience strongly preferred
• Self-starter with independence and anticipation of customer needs
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Demonstrated project management and influencing abilities

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute account strategies in collaboration with the sales team to drive performance across key customers and programs
• Partner with Finance, Marketing, and cross-functional teams to design pricing and initiatives
• Identify growth and retention opportunities through market trends and customer data
• Build relationships with internal and executive customers to influence outcomes
• Lead collaboration to maximize ROI and expand company reach
• Translate data into actionable insights through reporting tools
• Support contracting by targeting agreements and conversions
• Contribute to VB Spine’s commercial strategy with market intelligence
• Mentor and train sales/marketing on strategic tools and business planning
• Serve as advisor to senior leadership on growth and innovation
