Job summary

VB Spine is seeking a Strategic Sales Manager (West) to lead sales strategy for innovative programs, drive IDN, regional, and local contracts, and train teams to execute with excellence.

The role is remote across the West Coast and Mountain States, with 35–40% travel and a compensation range of $160,000–$180,000, plus bonuses and benefits. Strong spine industry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of sales experience preferred OR high school + 8 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in spine industry and contracts strongly preferred.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and anticipate customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute account strategies with sales team for key customers and national programs.
• Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, and other teams to design tools improving pricing and programming.
• Identify growth and retention opportunities via market trends and customer data.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders to influence outcomes and partnerships.
• Lead collaborations to maximize ROI and expand company reach.
• Translate data into actionable insights for sales strategy and execution.
• Support strategic contracting targeting GPO/IDN agreements and competitive conversions.
• Contribute to VB Spine’s commercial strategy with market intelligence.
• Mentor sales and marketing on strategic tools and messaging.
• Act as adviser to senior leadership shaping growth and innovation.
• Travel approximately 35-40%.
