Job summary

GroundMasters Landscape Services, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager to identify new growth opportunities and build client relationships in the Lemont, IL area.

You will develop strategies to expand market share, conduct market research, and transition signed clients to Account Managers. You will lead direct sales to new commercial customers, collaborate with Marketing on sales materials, and maintain a robust CRM pipeline.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience coordinating across functions and driving sales in landscaping/snow removal.
• Proficient with Salesforce or equivalent CRM; strong lead generation tooling like ZoomInfo/CoStar.

Responsibilities

• Assume direct sales responsibility within assigned geography to acquire new commercial clients in landscape maintenance and snow removal.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans; align with client needs and company goals.
• Manage CRM pipeline daily; track activities, qualify leads, and report progress to leadership.
