Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, is seeking a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with USSOCOM requirements. You will work with the Applications Engineering and Business Development teams to demonstrate capabilities, support field trials, and tailor demonstrations for lower-signature tactical networks.

Expect up to 50% travel to customer sites and labs, with a remote-work option depending on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer/Network Engineering or a related C5ISR field with 2–5 years of relevant experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years in technical/defense roles.
• Experience with Software-Defined Radios (SDRs) and IP-based routing or tactical comms.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
• Ability to obtain Government SECRET clearance within 15 months.

Responsibilities

• Bridge RF capabilities with USSOCOM requirements and tactical edge networks.
• Demonstrate interoperability, field-readiness, and low-signature performance of the StreamCaster radios.
• Collaborate with Applications Engineering and Business Development to support technical needs.
• Travel up to 50% to customer sites, labs, and field tests; support remote work as location allows.
