Silvus Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Business Development Engineer for USSOCOM to bridge RF capabilities with customer requirements across multi-domain environments.

You will travel up to 50% to customer sites, support field trials, and work with Applications Engineering and Business Development to shape product roadmaps and technical strategies. Remote work options may be available depending on location.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related C5ISR field with 2–5 years of demonstrated experience in systems engineering, tech business development, or defense tech roles; OR High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant technical/defense experience.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP-based routing protocols, or tactical communication systems.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
• Security Clearance: Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.

Mansioni

• Assist in analyzing USSOCOM capability gaps and mapping needs to tactical radio solutions.
• Support technical planning, network configuration, and field trials and user evaluations.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Business Development to leverage testing data and benchmarking.
• Translate field feedback into product roadmap inputs and track progress against needs.
