Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, is seeking a Business Development Engineer for the US Air Force to bridge RF capabilities with DoD requirements. You will support acquisition stakeholders, demonstrate interoperability, and help field-test our StreamCaster radios across airborne and expeditionary environments.

Candidates should have 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech, a relevant degree, and U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer/Network Engineering or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years experience in systems engineering or defense tech, or HS with 5+ years experience.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP-based routing, or tactical comms systems.
• Security clearance or ability to obtain one within 15 months; US citizen required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze US Air Force priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Support field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations.
• Prepare technical demonstrations for airborne, edge, and expeditionary networking needs.
• Assist in responding to RFIs/RFPs with technical input.
• Travel to customer sites and labs for field tests and demonstrations.
