Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with DoD requirements for the US Air Force. You will support engineering and BD teams, demonstrating interoperability of StreamCaster radios across airborne, surface, expeditionary environments, with travel up to 50% and a remote option depending on location.

The role reports to the Director of Applications Engineering and involves technical demos, RFI/RFP responses, market

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer/Network engineering or related C5ISR field with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen for government contracts.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP routing protocols, or tactical communications systems.
• Basic familiarity with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators).

Responsibilities

• Analyze Air Force priorities and map requirements to radio solutions.
• Plan network configurations and conduct field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate with Engineering and BD to leverage testing and benchmarking data.
• Support BD with technical needs and align with strategic priorities.
• Develop and present technical demonstrations for airborne and expeditionary networks.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and end-to-end network architectures.
• Identify potential integrations with industry partners and perform market research.
• Translate field feedback into product roadmap inputs and track progress.
