Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with USAF requirements. You will coordinate with engineering and BD teams to validate interoperability of StreamCaster radios across airborne and expeditionary environments, including field trials and demonstrations.

The role requires up to 50% travel and a U.S. citizen with active SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one within 15 months.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent with 2–5 years in systems engineering, technical BD, or defense tech roles
• Experience with SDRs or tactical comms
• Familiarity with RF test equipment and lab practices

Responsibilities

• Support analysis of USAF priorities and map requirements to RF solutions
• Lead technical planning, network configuration and live field tests
• Collaborate with Engineering to leverage testing data and benchmark proposals
• Align with Business Development on technical needs and roadmaps
• Develop and present technical demos for airborne and expeditionary networks
• Assist with RFI/RFP responses and end-to-end network architecture reviews
